A dangerous pesticide coming to the U.S.

EWG scientists have uncovered a dangerous new pesticide lurking in our food supply, chlormequat. Chlormequat has been linked to harm to fetal growth and the reproductive and nervous systems and was found in nearly every oat-based food we tested.

The EPA is weighing a decision that could dramatically increase our exposure to chlormequat by allowing it on oats and other grains grown in the U.S. and allowing residues in our meat, dairy and eggs. EWG is fighting back. Can we count on you to join us?
