Al Rabine
Al joined EWG in 2022 as a GIS analyst, having discovered a passion for the environment through 4-H, camping and hiking with his family in Minnesota. He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and a minor in sociology from Augsburg College, in Minneapolis. He earned a certificate in geospatial information systems from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in GIS from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Al has worked at St. Mary’s geospatial services as a GIS analyst, focusing on projects such as wetland mapping and mapping of impervious surfaces in Alaska. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar and board games with his wife, as well as hanging out with their cat, Joe Meower, and dog, Hobi.
